I have had serious trouble with spammers constantly adding spam links to thetangentspace, so I've resorted to the extreme measure of disallowing new automatic accounts for now. If I find a way to do this that blocks spammers and allows legitimate edits, I would be happy to make the system more open.

For now, if you want an account, please email me directly and I'll set one up immediately, no questions asked. I don't think spammers will take the time to do ask me directly, so I am willing to trust anyone who emails me to ask for an account. I can be reached at tylerneylon (at sign) gmail (dotcom).
